About Emily
Hello, my name is Diamond's Crazy Little Think Called Emily and I was born on 26 April 2014 in Latendorf. I had two playmates with whom I grew up on a large meadow.
When I was young I went on a trip and was at the Horse and Hunting Fair.
When I was three years old, I was standing on my padock as the oldest aunt, when suddenly this interesting woman came by.
I showed her that I could already pull a gig and she gave me a great cuddle and grooming. Some time later I went on my first long journey and got into a camper van for horses.
I had to spend the whole day in this cramped thing and was very happy when I was finally allowed to get out. I was quite sad that I couldn't see my family and friends any more, but made many more friends in the years that followed.
But my best and constant friend is the woman with the blonde mane. After some time I learned that I can trust her and that she always looks out for me.
We walked a lot together through woods, meadows and villages and for her I also lost my fear of water and go with her into any body of water when she has made sure it is safe.
After a while, she started to put strange things on my back and then put them around my belly. That was unusual, but it never hurt.
Because I was so sweet, I was allowed to carry her children on some walks. It made me very proud to help them, because their legs were so short.
The first time she climbed on top of me, the nice Marcus guided me, as I tried very hard not to fall over with the weight.
With every piggyback ride, I became more and more confident and we were able to go for long and fast walks through the woods and meadows thanks to my strength and stamina, which I enjoyed very much.
A nice woman came regularly to massage my muscles. Marcus learned a lot from her, so I'm always happy when he comes along with her and massages me.
Occasionally he also tries to ride me, which was very difficult for me at first. That's why they arrived at some point with a big blue carriage.
I quickly got used to the harness and stood still with all the cords hanging down my legs. I quickly understood that I had to go backwards in front of the carriage and then stay very still until I was completely tied up. As I was not used to pulling something so big with people on it behind me, my friend Conny always walked together with me in front.
But after a while I got used to the feeling and we regularly rode in the carriage. This way I could have my whole two-legged family with me.
One day the nice Marcus didn't come for a while and then my girls cleaned me up and wouldn't stop cuddling me, so I knew that something big was coming.
Then a horse transporter came to the farm and my friend took me inside and said goodbye to me very sweetly. I was on this wobbly thing for as long as I had been when I was a young horse and came out in a completely strange place. There I was put in a box and wondered what I had done wrong that I had now ended up in prison.
Many days and weeks passed and I was very sad and missed my family. Then I was driven again in a different transporter to a very noisy place. There I had to stand in a very narrow metal box next to a very anxious horse.
This went on and on until I came to a nice big farm with a big padock where I could finally move around again. I must have travelled very far, because everything was different here. The stars looked different, the smell was different and the craziest thing was the time of year was wrong. My great winter coat, which I had put on, was much too warm for me, as it suddenly became summer again.
It took several more weeks until the rest of my family was finally with me again and we explored the area together. I wondered what it was that made such a constant noise, but when I saw the sea for the first time, I was overwhelmed.
We now live on an island that they all call New Zealand and the best thing is that there are no more of those stupid mosquito bites that used to itch me so much.
I look forward even more now when my family comes to visit me. We always do different things, but my favourite is dancing with my friend on my back.
She then leads me from above and I move my legs very deliberately and carry myself gracefully and powerfully. I think she likes it very much when I move like that, because then we melt into each other.
Let's see how many more adventures I will have with my family and when I can finally have a baby.

About me
I was born in southern Germany in 1983 and came into contact with horses at an early age.
The horses were my greatest teachers, as it was easy for me to understand their language.
My first soul horse was a black gelding named Calvaro. With his three white socks and his wild temperament he was called the Devil out of superstition.
After I was able to gain his trust, I was the only one allowed to ride him at the age of 10. He regularly bit other people or bucked them off when they tried riding him.
I was lucky enough to learn to ride on stubborn ponies, but I also rode large horses with a height of 1.80 metres.
When I was 14, I was fortunate to ride a former trotting horse called Shari. He always cantered off from standig on his hind legs. After half a year, he was a relatively reliable trecking horse.
I had a riding partnership with a nice woman called Conny. She rode her Andalusian regularly in a quatrille. Through her I got an insight into classical dressage.
Of course I thought about doing an apprenticeship in the field of equestrian, but the thought of exploiting the animals was not acceptable to me.
So instead, I decided to use my mathematical skills and trained as an electronics technician. Through further education, I have been working successfully as a media computer scientist since 2016, and was also able to fulfil my dream of owning my own horse.
Since I was fascinated by Arabians and my last foster horse was a 20 year old Arabian mare, I knew that it is not always easy with such a temperamental horse.
My friend recommended Icelandic horses, but I just didn't click with them right away. However, I then looked around on the International Gaited Horse Association’s website (gv-online.de) and came across the Rocky Mountain Horse, which sparked my passionate enthusiasm.
